Indiana eLearning Leadership Cadre

As part of Indiana’s efforts to increase outreach and capacity to innovate at the school and classroom level through educational technology, the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) has formed the eLearning Leadership Cadre to help build critical mass in these fast-changing, exciting, and challenging times.

This twelve-member innovative cohort is made up of some of the most strategic, visionary leaders in Indiana. They represent diverse districts from all over the state and were selected based on their educational leadership, expertise, vision and the ability to get to yes.

The Cadre will focus on strategic components of 21st century teaching and learning that directly impact student achievement and instructional practice, as well as community and business partnerships.  During this two-year opportunity, members of the eLLC will meet in person, virtually, and at conferences throughout the state in order to support other schools and educators in collaboration with the Office of eLearning.

The Cadre members will help to shape the educational landscape in Indiana regarding:

  • Highlighting and strengthening current high-yield instructional technologies;
  • Frontline reactions and advice for IDOE expectations regarding innovation through educational technology;
  • Strategically visioning and planning for what's new and next in educational technology; and
  • Being eLearning outreach ambassadors for this work throughout the state and nation.

An IDOE Office of eLearning grant provides funding for the Cadre. The following individuals are 2012-2014 Cadre members:
